The Belfast and Searsport baseball and softball have been plenty busy on the diamond this spring — including playing each other — in preparation for their high school regular seasons.

The Waldo County neighbors played one another on Friday afternoon, April 9.

In softball, Belfast played at Searsport, while, in baseball, the Lions hosted the Vikings.

High school student-athletes around the state literally are "back in the game" after the pandemic wiped out their 2020 spring seasons.
